Dr. Huang is a UW assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine who specializes in hand, wrist and elbow surgery. He evaluates patients with elbow, wrist and hand problems. He provides nonoperative and surgical treatment options to allow patiens to return to their work and recreational activities.

Patient Care Philosophy

He is committed to providing the highest level of care by taking the time to listen to patients' concerns and desires, in addition to educating them about their condition and treatment options. He strives to work together as a team to help patients achieve pain relief and maximum functional recovery.

Hand, wrist and elbow fractures; wrist and elbow arthroscopy; carpal tunnel syndrome; cubital tunnel syndrome; Dupuytren's contracture; hand and wrist arthritis; thumb basal joint arthritis; tendon repair and reconstruction; elbow replacement surgery; and treatment of stiff elbows.

Research Interests

Clinical outcomes research on treatment of upper extremity fractures and reconstructive procedures in the hand, wrist, and elbow.

Bone and cartilage tissue engineering, as well as stem cell-based therapy in biologic tissue repair.
