The UW Medicine Hip and Knee Center specializes in the evaluation and management of hip and knee conditions, with a specialty in the surgical treatment of these joints. We perform primary, and the revision of total joint replacements, as well as corrective osteotomies. Our team of specialty trained operative and non-operative physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists and nurses use a multi-disciplinary approach to provide the best treatment plan for patients. We partner with our patients to develop an individualized plan that will provide the maximum recovery of hip and knee function.
Our goal is maximum recovery of hip and knee joint function. When a patient's condition involves multiple joints or systemic arthritis, we have ready access to experts in other areas of reconstruction orthopedics, in rheumatology, and in rehabilitation medicine.
The University of Washington offers three clinics that provide information and care for individuals with hip and knee arthritis.
- Bone and Joint Surgery Center
- Eastside Specialty Center
