Sports medicine and fitness health care providers can help you prevent and recover from injuries, whether you are a world class athlete or just slightly active. Sports medicine and fitness practitioners also help to maximize your level of physical function, by working with you to design an exercise training program to help you return to activity.

Our special interests and expertise include services to recreational athletes, skiers, high school and college athletes, dancers, cyclists, runners, gymnasts, and rock and high altitude climbers, as well as to individuals wanting to start an exercise program.

For shoulder replacement (arthroplasty), and open shoulder reconstructive procedures, you may also want to visit our UW Shoulder/Elbow website.
