An interview with Michael J. Lee

Dr Lee is an Assistant Professor in spine surgery who specializes in degenerative conditions of the spine. He has a particular interest in newer surgical technologies, including minimally invasive approaches to the spine, and disc replacement surgeries. He graduated from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago IL, and joined the University of Washington faculty in 2007.

The University of Washington Medical Center was again ranked highly for
orthopaedic surgery by US News and World Report, this year being listed as 15th
in the nation.
Dr. Beingessner, Assistant Professor, received 2008 spring quarter's HMC CARES Service Excellence Award.
Dr Henley has recently been appointed to the Board of Directors of the
American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS)
Dr. Leopold lectured recently in San Francisco at the annual meeting of the
Hippocrates Winslow Babbage Foundation.
Dr. Maheshwari, orthopaedic resident, has been nominated by the Program Director and Chair of Orthopaedics to attend the 2008 AOA-OREF-Zimmer Resident Leadership Forum.
