An Interview with Gregory A. Schmale, M.D.

Greg grew up in Rochester, New York, learning to love the outdoors and a wide variety of sporting activities. A yearning for higher education led him to medical school at the University of Washington and his current career path ultimately into pediatric orthopaedics.

The University of Washington Medical Center was again ranked highly for
orthopaedic surgery by US News and World Report, this year being listed as 15th
in the nation.
Dr. Beingessner, Assistant Professor, received 2008 spring quarter's HMC CARES Service Excellence Award.
Dr Henley has recently been appointed to the Board of Directors of the
American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS)
Dr. Leopold lectured recently in San Francisco at the annual meeting of the
Hippocrates Winslow Babbage Foundation.
Dr. Maheshwari, orthopaedic resident, has been nominated by the Program Director and Chair of Orthopaedics to attend the 2008 AOA-OREF-Zimmer Resident Leadership Forum.
