An interview with David Barei, M.D., FRCSC Dr. Barei was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Despite living in the Automotive Capital of Canada, he pursued higher education north of Windsor, first studying in the biologic sciences at The University of Western Ontario in London. Subsequent to this, he pursued his medical degree and orthopedic residency in the Nation’s Capital of Ottawa, Ontario. Read More

The UW hand and Upper Extremity Course was held on January 17th and 18th, 2009


Dr. Kyle Chun, orthopedic resident, to receive the resident research support grant


Dr. Allan awarded a two-year research subcontract as part of a multicenter Phase II DARPA-sponsored contract working with researchers at Tulane, UC Irvine and other facilities as part of DARPA's Restorative Injury Repair program.


Dr. Conrad and Dr. Matsen are listed as two of the eleven top Orthopedic Surgeons by The Seattle Magazine


Dr. Cavanagh, professor of the orthopedics and sports medicine at the UW Medical Center, is featured in The New York Times news - "There Are No Points for Style in the Marathon".
