Philosophy of care/General Information:

Dr. Leopold specializes in surgical treatments for hip and knee arthritis. He has a particular interest in less-invasive methods of hip and knee replacement surgery. These newer techniques can decrease post-operative pain, decrease the risk of surgery, and shorten the post-operative recovery period. Dr. Leopold also performs traditional hip and knee replacement surgery.

His academic interests include orthopaedic education, unusual sources of bias in the scientific literature, surgical and non-surgical treatments for arthritis, and the problems associated with failed joint replacements.
