I graduated from the University of Washington Physician Assistant Program in 2005 and am
now working with the University
of Washington Orthopaedics
and Sports Medicine Department on the Shoulder and Elbow Service.
What do you most enjoy about your work?
I most enjoy being able to take part in caring for patients
and watching them regain function after surgery.
What is your treatment philosophy?
Listen to the patient, make a connection and work on
tailoring treatment to meet the goals of the patient.
What are your interests outside of medicine?
Backpacking, running, traveling
What is the focus of your teaching efforts?
Focus on all aspect of better preparing health care
professional for the many challenges that lay ahead for them, all the while
continuing to learn something from each on of them.
What do your most recent research efforts focus on?
Working on various dynamics of the shoulder and shoulder
surgical techniques.

Focus on treatment of shoulder and elbow problems.
