Dr Peter Cavanagh will deliver the keynote opening presentation at the National Osteoporosis Foundation's 8th International Symposium on Osteoporosis (ISO). His talk will be entitled "Translating Research into Clinical Practice". The meeting will be held in Washington, D.C. at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel on April 2-5, 2009.
In his address, Dr Cavanagh will discuss the importance of space research and effects of antigravity on bone loss and how to utilize what we have learned to help design ways to improve bone strength on earth.
