4. There are many different options for ACL reconstruction.  The major issues involve the choice of graft (bone-patellar tendon-bone, hamstring, quadriceps, allograft, etc.) and the type of reconstruction (single-bundle or double-bundle).
5. Post-operative physical rehabilitation is a critical and crucial part of the success of the procedure.  A team approach by physician and patient almost always leads to a successful, satisfying result and a full return to activity.
