About

Dr. Carlo Bellabarba is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.  Following his training in Orthopedic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois he completed a Trauma Fellowship at Tampa General Hospital and then a Spine Fellowship at Northwestern University. He is currently a Professor at University of Washington in the Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery departments.  

Dr. Bellabarba treats the full spectum of spine conditions including:

Dr. Bellabarba treats each patient as if he or she were a family member, and uses the full extent of his research and clinical experience to tailor a treatment program to each patient's unique clinical situation.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Bellabarba's clinical interests include surgical treatment of the full range and complexity of spine conditions throughout the spine, from the upper cervical spine to the sacrum, including spine trauma; degenerative spine conditions such as stenosis and disc pathology; spine deformity such as scoliosis, kyphosis and spondylolisthesis; spine infections; spine tumors; and minimally invasive spine surgery and motion-sparing treatments.
