Dr. Theodore Wagner was awarded the 2019 Walter P. Blount Humanitarian Award by the Scoliosis Research Society at their 54th annual meeting in Toronto.
The Walter P. Blount Humanitarian Awards recognizes outstanding service to those with spinal deformity, and for generosity to the profession and society.
Dr. Wagner was recognized for his international teaching efforts and medical care provided after the 2015 Nepal earthquake.
