About Dr. Iannuzzi
Dr. Iannuzzi is a UW Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. He is an Orthopaedic Surgeon at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System and at the University of Washington Medical Center and Bone & Joint Clinic. In addition to general orthopaedics, he specializes in surgery of the hand and upper extremities.
Dr. Iannuzzi earned his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and his M.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He first came to the UW as a resident with the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. After residency, he completed a fellowship at the Curtis National Hand Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Patient Care Philosophy
As a physician, I believe that communication between the patient and provider is of the utmost importance. My primary goal is to help you get back to the activities you love. With that said, I want to make sure we have the same goals in mind, and I want to provide you with an understanding of what your surgery and recovery will entail.
Interest in treating fractures and nerve and tendon injuries about the hand, wrist, and elbow. Interest in treating arthritis throughout the entire upper extremity.
Clinical research in hand and upper extremity surgery including prevention of complications and patient-centered outcome studies.
Hiking, mountain biking, climbing, camping.
